 Litany of a nation;
 beyond box scores, excrement,
 and inflammatory holograms. 

 Litany of nothing;
 scattered attention wasted
 on gossip and garbage. 

 Litany of the end;
 impatient benedictions of duplicity
 by the dozens. 
 
Litany of giving up;
 throbbing exhaustion and
 acceptance of an end.
