 conversant with impending furies
 beyond children’s play;
 its curtain shredded
 by midsummer’s wild shear.

  1. Noctilucent, eh? Not that I wasn’t able to figure it out, but I must say I’ve never heard the word before. That’s what good writers do; they send you to the dictionary.
